Who operates this service
This policy covers DYLIP, an audio library for listening, downloading, uploading and organizing sounds. The DYLIP service team handles privacy requests at support@whoop.me.
Information we process
- Account information: when you sign in with Google, we receive your provider identifier, email, profile name and profile picture where available. We use these to identify your account. We do not receive your Google password or request access to Gmail, contacts or Drive.
- Public contributions: your chosen public uploader name, published audio and its title, description, tags, catalog classifications, rights/source details and uploader page are visible to other visitors. Your sign-in email and Google profile picture are not published on your uploader page.
- Account activity: we store playlists and uploads, their ownership and processing/moderation status. Playlists start private; an unlisted playlist is accessible to people with its link, and a public playlist may appear in discovery or search. Do not include private information in shared playlists.
- Technical and security information: our delivery and security services process IP addresses, browser information, requests and approximate country. Application security records can include hashed IP/browser identifiers and details of security-related actions. This supports delivery, abuse prevention, troubleshooting and language preselection.
- Aggregate statistics: we use download activity, including the audio identifier, country and event time, to calculate popularity and discovery. This is not a public history of an individual member's listening activity.
- Requests and reports: we process the message, relevant audio/page information and optional contact details you provide when requesting support or reporting content or rights concerns.
Why we use it
We use information to authenticate members, maintain sessions, publish and moderate audio, provide playlists, enforce service limits, respond to support and rights requests, prevent abuse and operate search and discovery. Where applicable, we process information to provide the service you request, protect the service and meet legal obligations; optional features requiring consent must obtain it separately.
Cookies and storage on your device
Essential first-party cookies support sign-in, sessions and security. A signed-in session normally expires after 30 days unless revoked earlier. Browser storage holds favorites, saved soundboard items, pending playlist actions, admin upload recovery information and advertising display choices. Favorites currently stay in the browser where you saved them; they are not automatically synchronized to your account. Clearing site storage removes those local records and may sign you out.
Service providers and advertising
Cloudflare provides hosting, audio storage, delivery, security and aggregate analytics. Google provides the sign-in option currently offered on DYLIP. Those providers process information under their own policies and may process it in other countries. We do not sell your account information.
Facebook and TikTok sign-in are not currently enabled. Live third-party advertising and paid checkout are not enabled as of this policy's update. Before enabling advertising or payments, we will update the relevant disclosures and implement any required consent controls. Essential sign-in does not itself authorize advertising tracking or access to additional social-account data.
Retention
Account information and playlists are retained while needed for your account. Removing a playlist through the normal interface archives it; that does not immediately erase every stored record. Published audio and moderation/rights records are retained while needed to provide the service, investigate disputes or satisfy applicable obligations.
Temporary uploads, expired archives and expired authentication records are subject to scheduled cleanup; cleanup is not instantaneous. Application security audit records are configured for cleanup after 180 days. Infrastructure logs and backups have separate retention periods; deleting live account data does not immediately erase every backup or another person's downloaded copy.
Your choices and requests
You may sign out, manage playlists, remove local favorites and revoke DYLIP's connection in your Google account settings. Revoking Google access alone does not delete your DYLIP account or existing uploads.
To request access, correction, an export, account deletion or deletion of personal information, contact us using the data deletion instructions. We verify ownership before releasing information or making destructive changes. Tell us if you also want your published audio removed. Some records may need to be retained for security, legal obligations or rights disputes; we will explain applicable limitations when responding.
Children, security and changes
DYLIP is not directed to children under 13. Do not create an account or upload personal information if you are below the minimum age required in your country. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information. We use access controls and technical protections, but no service can guarantee absolute security. Material changes to this policy will be published here with an updated date.
