Using DYLIP

These terms apply to DYLIP. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. You must be at least 13 and meet any higher minimum age required in your country; if you are not legally able to agree to these terms yourself, a parent or guardian must approve your use.

You may listen to and download public MP3s without an account. There is no daily limit on individual public downloads, but short-term rate limits, abuse controls and availability limits apply. Uploading requires an active member account; playlist and other features may have additional limits.

Your account and public name

Protect access to your sign-in provider and do not impersonate another person. DYLIP currently offers Google sign-in for basic account information only. You choose a public uploader name once before uploading; the normal account interface does not allow renaming it. Contact support for privacy or safety concerns. Your sign-in email is not intended to appear as your public uploader name.

We may restrict or suspend accounts involved in abuse or serious rights violations. You may request account deletion using our deletion instructions.

Your audio and permission to operate the service

Only upload audio you own or are authorized to share. You retain any ownership rights you hold. By uploading, you grant DYLIP a non-exclusive permission to store, process, encode, preview, display and distribute that audio through the service, subject to the item's stated license and these terms. This permission lets us operate the audio library; it does not transfer ownership to DYLIP.

Provide accurate titles, classifications, source and license information. Do not publish personal information without permission, misleading attribution, unlawful material, malware, harassment or content that violates the Upload Guidelines. We may review, restrict or remove uploads and retain records needed to investigate disputes.

Downloads, licenses and shared playlists

Downloading an audio file does not transfer copyright or automatically authorize every use. Check the rights and source information for each item. Do not assume that a meme, community upload or a DYLIP label means the audio is cleared for commercial use. Users remain responsible for permissions required for their intended use.

A playlist you share by link can be accessed by people with that link. Avoid including private information. Copies already downloaded or saved by other people may remain outside DYLIP's control after an item is removed.

Acceptable use and rights reports

Do not bypass authentication or rate limits, access other members' private data, upload spam, manipulate popularity statistics or use automation to disrupt the service. Authorized admin tools remain subject to their scoped permissions. Report suspected copyright violations using our Copyright & Takedown process; for account or safety concerns, contact us.

Advertising and paid features

Core listening and individual public downloads are free. Live third-party advertising and paid checkout are not enabled as of this update. If paid features are introduced, their price, billing period, cancellation and applicable refund terms will be disclosed before purchase. Creating an account does not authorize a charge. Optional advertising consent, where required, is separate from basic sign-in.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep DYLIP available, but uninterrupted availability and accuracy of third-party uploads cannot be guaranteed. Features, limits and rankings may change, and material changes to these terms will be published with an updated date. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
